Making beats is arguably the most important job in Hip Hop music. Without the backbone and heartbeat of the track, what will push the artist to write something that can tailor to the flow of the beat?
Turning what is an impromptu freestyle on someone else’s beat, into a thought out affair. This will ultimately be, in most cases, thought of as quality skill. It’s harder to write a formulaic verse, then it is to freestyle. Notice I didn’t say freestyle well, just freestyle.
To get this flow is a work in progress from beginning to end. Some nights the Hip Hop Gods have a tendency to shine down on you ears. Nights when you can just hear that melody before it even hits the air.
There are also those who are not as comfortable with production of classics and feel the stress right off that bat. These folks have several options. The Internet holds treasures that can make life easy for the artist. Websites offer cheap memberships to sources with thousands of beats.
You log on you pay your 20 bucks and you are off to making music. There are also websites that you can actually produce decent music right on the site. It’s pretty amazing.
Then you have the computer software like the fruityloops. Where you load samples and/or instruments into you computer and you build your beat from the ground up. I actually heard a stock sound from fruity loops used in a recent Bangladesh produced song. So it’s being done.
Anyway you look at, Hip Hop needs the beats. We don’t need the words, the radio proves that everyday.
So some of the Hottest Beats out there. In No order and the list goes on.
